Unrequited Love

by Jessica Dygos   Feb 10, 2007

Sometime you know it's love
But it can't be touched
Too far away to grasp
Though you still call it love
Deep desperate emotions
Wonder if there real
If the way they are
Is really how you feel
Tempations and torments
Creep in the brain
Causing agony
Almost too much pain
Anxiety and pounding heart
Crowding your world
Not understanding
The gentle pearl
Love though interesting
Scary at times
Just keep honesty
Instead of deminishing lies
Happiness brought through
Until taken away
Crushed heart
And sorrow filled tears
Will stay with you
Many terrifying years
But just remember
Love isn't gone
Jest leaking through your tears
Sometimes seen at dawn
