Don't Forget

by Christie   Feb 11, 2007

Don't forget to smile; forgiving,
We all apologise at this turn of the living,
Calling to terror, not knowing the name,
And he says he questions the knowledge of the sane?

Don't forget to laugh; deceiving,
Hide behind the words your conceiving,
Ask no questions, know your right,
Don't think; just leave it 'till tonight.

Don't forget to nod; sincere,
Let him know what you want is clear,
Wander aimlessly if that's what he needs,
Ignore the sound of your heart as it bleeds.

Don't forget to tremble; confused,
Hide the places your head is bruised,
But don't forget to plan each word,
And wipe your tears, however absurd.
