Bob's Way

by Laloser05   Feb 12, 2007

He was always the youngest,
But he didn't care.
Living life on the edge,
Never afraid to fall.
That was Bob's way.

Liked to feel the wind,
Ruffling through his hair.
Thrill seeker with a twist,
Anything that meant living.
That was Bob's way.

He did all there was,
Never got bored.
Life's to short to yawn,
Thats what he said.
That was Bob's way.

He was always a teen,
His home was the open road.
He lived fast,
And you know the rest.
That was Bob's way.

Life's too short anyway,
But his was barely a blink.
He had his eyeful,
Before he went over.
That was Bob's way.

He slipped on the edge,
The cliff fell away.
We were standing on that bedrock,
The earth shook.
But that was Bob's way.

They said that there wasn't any room,
A small group wasn't his wish.
They filled out the church and the graveyard,
On Bob's Day.
