Wishes for Unhappiness

by Bronze Flowers   Feb 13, 2007

I threw a penny in a fountain
And wondered what to wish
For a book
Or a kitten
But then I remebered you
I remebered your laugh
Youor chuckle
Your grin
The way you could make my world spin
I remembered the way
You tore my heart
I wished for you dead on the ground
I next tossed in a nickle
And wished for you to see
Me
With someone other than you
Just as you couldn't find a date
I searched through my pockets
And found a dime
I wished you to find
That you loved me
And to know that your chance is over
I dug out a quarter
And it sunk to the bottom
Just as you're going to
When I push you in

My wishes made
My heart mended
I wandered away
Whistling
And wondering which would happen first
