I miss you most

Now that you have left this world
Its been so hard to carry on
All the little things you use to do
I seem to miss more as time goes on
The sound of your voice when you
came through the door would make
my heart jump with joy
But I don't hear it any more
and it makes me want to cry
To hear your laugher as it filled the air
How it would make me smile
But I don't smile much any more
I miss you late at night
when the kids are in their beds
I miss the huge and kisses
And the talks we use to share
Feeling safe and warm in your arms
I would fall asleep without a care
But now I am finding it hard to sleep
laying here all alone
But I miss you most when I awake
and forget that you are gone
I turn and look for you
That is when I miss you
