Smile for the Camera...

by Bee   Feb 14, 2007

The camera that fell into your hands
Was only going to capture the reality
Of a relationship supposedly full
Of virtue, trust and sensuality.

The words that flowed from your mouth were true
That the night of our love was to be forever dark-forever blue
And that saying that the camera don't lie never made
A proper impression on me as eventually our love did fade

The camera that fell into your hands
Was to mean nothing to us or to anyone
The relationship everyone wanted to be good
Never was great- never was fun!

And the time that we held inside of my mind
Only once stirred and that was to find
That all of the love we felt we'd created
Has now become the one thing we've hated

So take the camera that fell into your hands
And make sure you brake it and toss it away
Burn the film too and only remember that
The world is never black or white but grey.
