Angel Of Death

by bubenfest   Feb 14, 2007

The Angel of Death appeared today
it wants my life, my misery
fear enters every limb of my body
death creeps in every corner

the constant clang of chains
steps growing louder
my heart weakens from anticipation
my eyes fall closed

memories grip my soul
my limp body smashes to the ground
taken by the Angel of Death
leaves only my bloody body

a pin point of pain
then all my pain ceases
a great light shines
blinding all of my sight

my fear releases from my body
warmth enters my soul
my life's complete
but I miss what’s left behind
