Daddy's Little Girl

by Danielle   Feb 15, 2007

Daddy's little girl lost her daddy today.
She watched her daddy walking away,
Telling her to be strong.
Tears streaked down her face,
Whispering goodbye.
She watches as his car starts down the street.
In shock of his leaving,
She doesn't know what to do.
She's trapped and can't move.
Fear, pain and anger well up inside.
Before she blows,
She runs as fast as she can,
Towards the car.
Screaming, crying, trembling,
Yelling for her Daddy.
Stopping in the middle of the road,
She drops to her knees,
Saying through sobs of tears,
"I will always be Daddy's Little Girl."
