Inside A Girl's Heart

by Jackie   Feb 15, 2007

Hey i wrote this poem after a quote i saw so 4 lines aren't mine

If you look inside a girl's heart
You'll see how often she cries
You'll see hidden secrets and lies
You'll see how she tries to keep her feelings inside
Until one day they all collide
You'll see how many times she's sad and depressed
Feeling like life is an impossible quest
You'll see how much a girl goes through
Because of a stereo-typical view
How many times she has to stand up tall
Even though she feels so small
How many times she's been played
Lied to and betrayed
She smiles, looking as happy as can be
Praying, that into her heart no one can see
For what you'll see the most
Is how hard it is to stay strong
When northing's right and every thing's wrong
