Stranger For A Friend

"What's up with you today?
You don't seem like yourself"
Who do you want me to be?
Maybe this is the real me!
The one that Ive been hiding
The one I locked away
I slip into this person
Just to make it through the day
The one who makes you laugh
The one who speaks her mind
Its not the real me
Look a little deeper
That girl you may just find
The one who hides her feelings
And never lets them show
She keeps them deep inside
So no one has to know
No one to rely on
No one to confide
No one to remind her
Everything's just fine
That girl you think you know
You've known her for so long
It's not the real me
She's been hiding all along
Hide beneath the smile
The fake laugh and the words
Lies a girl so undiscovered
If only someone cared
Cared enough to set
Set free the undiscovered
And show the world that girl
That lies beneath the cover
But once again you ask me
I reply as did before
Im fine. It's nothing. Really.
That girl remains
Undiscovered. Once more!
