Cupid? Fired?

Valentine's day is near
cupid is hiding far away
lust replaced the love that should be in the air
So many hearts will be left broken that day

His arrows are so very sharp
but aren't being put to use
they should be helping those broken hearts
if they were then I'd see smiles as proof

Maybe he will do it all at the right time
but as of now I feel he should be fired
cause so many things aren't spoken, like everyone is a mine
and wants that should be fulfilled are left as things still desired
