What We Have Is Real

by Shelby   Feb 19, 2007

As I stare into your eyes
The pureness make me weak
You tell of all your dreams
The comfort that you seek

This moment I can't stand
To know it's really you
You've seemed so far away
This just cannot be true

It's impolite to stare
I've been told that way too much
But with you it's just so odd
I yearn to feel your touch

All your friends, they laugh
They mock me to my doom
But you are surely there
As if I could assume

I wait until the day
You realize how I feel
Trust me when I say
That what we have is real
