Shes the patch of brown grass
In a field of all green
The missed line in the play
At the very best scene

Shes the ugliest weed
In a garden just grown
The poem in the drawer
That can never be shown

Shes the tear on the cheek
Of a beautiful face
The bright shining star
Thats lost out in space

Shes the wonderful book
That has never been read
The most meaningful words
That have never been said

Shes the girl who they teased
When she was lonely and scared
The girl who kept her head high
