Explaining War

by Jesskah   Feb 20, 2007

Without a choice,
A battle men must face.
Not knowing what is in store for them,
They must run wars race.

Not knowing if they will survive,
With a possibility that they could die.
They have no choice but to fight,
Even if they do not know why.

Killing innocent men,
Lives destroyed along the way.
The men leave their beloved families,
And they do not even get a say.

Why is this happening?
Why do we have to face war?
When lives are lost, injured and more.

Explaining war, the words we could never find,
The words just aren’t there.
Explaining war,
It is simply unjust and unfair.

My family died to protect you at their own expense and their own will. so i think they deserve better. they chose to fight and i know they have no regrets.
