Fill-in-dad

by Tina   Feb 21, 2007

The flood streamed down my worried face,
I turn away so I can hide,
I want to find a safer place,
Tired of knowing that you lied.

Wanting things I can not find,
Wishing you could love me more,
Memories trapped in my mind,
Making my heart ache and sore.

Thought that I could trust you,
But sadly I was wrong,
Scared to start over new,
Hating you all along.

Hurt runs through my veins,
Like blood to my heart,
Silently it rains,
I see you depart.

Rain kissed my hair,
I'm left alone,
My heart is bare,
I feel unknown.

Fill-in-dad,
Now your gone,
Nothings glad,
I'm withdrawn.

Mad, sad,
Hate you,
Bad dad
Not true.

Life
Yearn
Strife
Learn.
