My Angel, My Mother

In my dreams she holds me still
Angel, beloved, Mother
And in my dreams she keeps me safe
Mistress, Princess, Daughter

She gave me life
I gave her death
She smiled at me
Then took her last breath

Does she hear my words tonight
Of love, death, and sorrow?
Or can she not find them,
Hoping to see me in the morrow

(I wrote this when i found out my birth mom died after having me.)
