Just, Freedom..

We all may have our differences

From gender down to race

But In the end we are all human beings living together in this place.

At times we must rely on one another

No matter what color or race

For Prejudice is not the answer

Nor does it have a place in present day.

Lets not wait until a catastrophe

To finally come together as a whole

To mourn the devastation of our nation

as the remains of the Trade Center continue to glow.

I know it may seem like this can't happen

Because most people fear what they don't know

But how can you being to hate someone

Who you barely even know?

Why not make a genuine effort

To befriend all who cross our paths

To come together as a family; a nation...

Free at last!

Free from all the hatred

And begin just as if today was the very start

Just as the Constitution of are nation has it:

All men are equal no matter how light or how dark.

Free from segregation

All are free to go where they please

without any racial tension

Or need to fear boast police.

Just a breath of freedom is what I ask for

Not just for me but the whole wide world

To ease the struggles of all people

All who have endured any hurt.

Just one breath of peace is what I strive for....

Some people say it can't be done...

Through my determination I will obtain it

No matter when that day may come....
