Eternity of an Enticing Atmosphere.

by Megadrive   Feb 24, 2007

Thy long forged torment has clung to thy marrow,
A desperate attempt of vindication, yet thought has held thee in sorrow.
Thy plunge into a morbid illusion,
So far submerged in abysmal conclusions.

Yet abolish thy strife, and let thy be unshackled,
Free thy compassion, so life may once more be tackled.
Thy malaise and corruption has controlled thy atmosphere,
Liberate thy soul, so horrid visions may not interfere.

Let thy anguish be warned, a battle has begun,
No longer shall thy be severed, for inside, I am no longer hung.
I breathe in the luscious heavens with a strong inclination,
No longer shall I be burden, for thy feeling of vindication.

Liberation! A word deserved of repeating,
A silence in thy core, so delicious and graciously receiving.
Unable to be daunted for a strong sense of empathy,
Such a cherished passion, a feeling of eternity.

29 minutes.

Started at 7:20 PM 02/23/07 (February 23rd, 2007), Finished, 7:49 PM 02/23/07 (February 23rd, 2007) 29 minutes to write this, kind of a long time compared to a couple of my other poems but, I have not written in a very long time on account of college and homework. Its very short, and it took a bit long, my feelings and thoughts got in the way of each other. I think I started writing this with more of an idea of how I wanted it to turn out instead of just writing it and letting it be pure, which I get that sense when I read it, sadly. But I hope everyone at least slightly enjoyed it, and maybe inspires them to go and write something much more elegant and beautiful, and I would love to read it. If you liked it (or hated it) please r/c and tell me what you thought, your feed back is very important to me, and if it does inspire you please tell me how, thank you for the read and hope you have a wonderful day! =D
