Like A Star

You're like a star,
Shining so bright.
Shooting so far,
And doing what's right.

You're like a star,
Making me hope.
So far apart,
Blindly, I grope.

You're like a star,
Faithful as dawn.
But just like stars are,
One day, you'll be gone.
