I hear Your Melody

by LadyPearl   Feb 24, 2007

Standing still among blooms of spring
Rigid compared to so many youths.
The years have grown barren without
that tenderness once sang within
.........your voice............

And so I tread with morning dread
Pass trees lined with early sap
Moving along the lines of memories
where hand in hand mattered all
The blazing sun shows no sympathy
Nor emotions for what is gone
Birds still sing with harmonies
Even for those spirits, long dead and lost

My hair turns from gold to white
and eyes from blue to black
I sit here wallowing in empty dreams
Hearing, feeling, nothing at all
Only the cool dew soaking my dress
do I remember where reality lie
Then back to an abyss of sorrow
Like a endless reigning curse

Then when pity almost won
and blood spilled upon the grass
A voice so sweet and enchanting
Swept senses away from pain
I hear it soaring through the leaves
Singing everywhere like the wind.
Weep not my love, I hear you
I feel your wings surround me

Cry not, think not, dream not
I hear you in my heart
