Daddy

by jello   Feb 24, 2007

Take away the pain
From my dead, aching heart
Fill it with the love
That I've been longing for so very long

Daddy can't you see that you're hurting me?
Daddy why can't you just love me?

Another sad goodbye
Another tare at the already broken heart
It's bleeding again, the blood is poring out

Daddy can't you see it?
Daddy can't you feel the blood?

You talk of work, of money
You have stories upon stories
But daddy what do you have for me?

Daddy why can't I have one ounce of love?

    *hugs and kisses your forhead*

I don't have a father, I've been told I'm lucky. I don't know honestly but I know that not being loved is as good as being dead.

    I love you (honestly)
