These Words

These words show so little, of what I feel in my heart
But I hope they can remind you, of my love when we're apart:

Morning never truly breaks,
without there being light shone in the sky.
And my life had never truly begun,
Until your smile caught my eye.

The first time I saw,
That happiness written across your face,
I knew that warmth inside me,
Was nota feeling I could replace.

The sensation of tickled emotions,
Flowing freely in my veins,
Seemed to slow my hearts strong beating,
And then quicken it again.

When I hold you in my arms,
It's like nothing can go wrong,
Because all my hopes and dreams,
Were for that moment all along.

Over time I've come to realize,
What you've been telling me for so long.
"You never know, just what you have,
Until the day it's gone."

Everytime I think I'm losing you,
It scares me all too much.
So on the days we spend together,
I cherish every touch.

All my hugs and kisses,
I save them all for you.
And all my wishes are spent wishing,
