Ripped apart

It eats away at me
Day in and day out
I can't do anything about it
I can't even shout

For it's my fault I'm like this
There's nothing I can do
I can't just push a button
To stop loving you

You act like you love me
And I thought your feelings were true
But now I know that you never did
And I'm left here feeling blue

I feel like a knife
just stabbed me in my chest
you said you were different
but your just like the rest

You lied
Just to get to my heart
And when I gave it to you
You ripped it apart

You stomped on it
Torn on it
Ripped it apart
But it was already broken from the very start

See I've been through so much pain now
I'm done with it all
I just wish someone would catch me
Before I fall

    This is officially my favorite of all of your poems! it's perfect! the rhyming and the flow was perfect, and i love what you wrote about! i really want to tell you my favorite part, but i can't choose anything... i'll tell you one of them though...

    i love that part... i wish it was true, i would've pushed that button a long time ago.
    anyways... i love this poem. you're a very talented writer!

    To me this was kind of a strange line, I wasn't a big fan of the line.

    To stop loving you''

    I loved this one, however. The poem overall was awesome and I really loved it! I can totally relate. 5/5! =]
