What a wonderful life she had,
And how it all ended so sad,
She went to the hospital and announced with cancer,
The Cranford Hospice was nothing more fancier,
I couldn't believe it, it all just took place,
She was dressed in white with frilly lace,
She went for chemo it wasn't going to lack,
10 weeks later the cancer came back,
It spread from her cervix, lungs and her liver,
My tears gushed out and flowed like a river,
I'll never forget that sparkling smile,
I promise to visit you once in a while,
You know that we'll love you, we'll never forget,
But all there bad times, I'll always regret,
Your beautiful eyes, the colour green,
You always lent a shoulder for someone to lean,
We had our bad times, our good times too,
You know that we all are still loving you,
You should be proud, you had the best,
And where you lay is where you rest.
Rest In Peace....
June Marie Tinkler.
