Brothers And Sisters

by Thorn Lovely Dead And Lonely   Feb 26, 2007

From a distance I watch the world
Sitting on the mountain top
Dusk has hit the country
But the city is still lit up

Sipping from my drinking cup
I watch as they all fly by
My brothers and sisters, to them I look up
Forcing myself not to cry

And sitting here I start to lie
My head slowly reaching the grass
I think and silently I sigh
I watch as they all pass

I am intentionally the last
My fangs are hidden within my mouth
Thinking of my vampire past
As I’m drinking they cry, but the sound won’t come out

I can really see the scene and a picture of a city and the nature around it. Very nice.
