Paul's The Dead

by Thorn Lovely Dead And Lonely   Feb 16, 2007

So many dead
so many gone
no time to mourn today
by the time
their families know
their face is blown away
surprise attacks
most men rise
the ones who aren't are dead
stay alive
my only goal
stay alive and ahead
seeing friends
they fade to black
afraid of what will be
looking up
down and around
praying it's ll just a dream

This poem has not a smooth flow to it.. but still one that keeps the reader going on into the next line.

some points were a little confusing i must say, threw off the poem a bit. for example.

the ones who aren't are dead
    stay alive
