Your Labyrinth

by Carol   Feb 27, 2007

Here I am again.
I'm running,
running through your labyrinth
once again.
Running away from the pain,
the tears,
the sorrow that you have caused.
Wishing to get out,
but only finding dead ends.

Here I am again,
I'm running,
running through your labyrinth
once more.
Getting close to the end,
wishing I could find the end.
Find the end before I die,
die of heartbreak.
Wishing to get out,
but only finding dead ends.

Here I am.
I'm lying,
lying on the ground of your labyrinth
for the last time.
Slowly dieing inside.
Dieing of heartbreak.
Wishing I could have gotten out,
but I only found dead ends.

Now I am nothing but a memory,
a memory of the past.
A lifeless memory of your labyrinth.
