Control

by Carol   Aug 10, 2007

She cries
She screams
because her life is falling,
falling apart,
at the very seams.
Beating her hands
into her beaten pillow
where she lays her head
and dreams those nightmares.
Faking that smile
when around others
hoping they wouldn't see
what really is going on.
She cries
She screams
because she doesn't have control,
any control,
anymore.
