My Immortal Love

by Autumn   Feb 27, 2007

Wounds cry out in a
darkened sound,
my heart screams
lies with every pound.
Afraid to speak for fear
of lying,
afraid to sleep for fear
of dying.

A ragged breath escapes
my lips,
With every tear my heart
rips.
I float down a river of
crimson pain,
a tear rolls down my face
leaving an unseen stain.

To look into your eyes is
to risk a new form of
undefined time,
here with you forces an
awful pain in this heart
of mine.

Faith is no longer a factor
in love,
and I can't control what
goes on up above.
So what is to become of this
dark daughter filled with pain,
tears of eternal light will come
with the rain.
