I tried to draw you - I failed,
tried to write you a poem - failed in that too,
and all I was trying to say,
is how much I love you.

You were the sun in my rainy day,
my shoulder for crying trough the last year,
you listened to me when I had so much to say,
tried to help me while my cheeks were wet from tears.

If only I could fly I wouldn't think a sec,
there isn't a place I wouldn't go for you, near or far,
I'd do anything for a precious friend,
friend like you are.

But instead of that I'm sitting here,
hoping that one day I'll hold you near.
Because I cannot imagine going on,
without you being there.

*This poem is dedicated to my best friend, I found her in a "place" I thought I never will. I love you.
