Regret, is self givin poison

by HollywoodSmile   Feb 28, 2007

All of you who have seen the music video for My Chemical Romane's Gohst of You and started to cry, or wanted to scream or hit someone, this is for you

All the imaginary conversations we hold inside ourselves
They never do us any good
They help us regret
They help us only to fret when our time to hold those conversations is up
When we hear the words we could never think, but always felt, drip off the lips of someone else in song, book, or poem
We learn to love those words
But sometimes are to afraid to admit
For fear of rejection, or becoming a misfit
Even when we have no right to fit there in the first place
If you keep your comments to yourself
Fail to complete your dreams
You know what regret is,You live it
I live it
All the things you plan on saying or doing, but end up "chickening out" they build up
Real fast
So say you're gonna do it and do
I'm not saying theres anything wrong with not following through
I'm saying it hurts
