The Finding of Me

by Thomas   Feb 28, 2007

I went on a search looking far and wide
On a search that could change my life then my pride
This search was not the shortest it took some time away
But what I was to find was worth no cash pay
It took away the past me, the current me it made
I once was lost and not myself but now mine eyes can see
When I think of how I was, I sit down just to cry
You may say I look the same but I say take a peek inside
The tree that was in my way before is now just pieces of grass
Now I can walk all over it and do it with some pride
I stumbled and stalled and walked and talked
All I did was now the things the father had in mind
When I was found in came without a letter
You dont have to believe at all
My parents were so proud of me they now can say
My son was found
as my heavenly father looks down, he knew me all along
The tree was there and now youve met your life
