Forever to be

Forever it's ours
Within us shall it stay
You're what I've longed for
Forever have I prayed

He knew you were special
That you'd belong to me
Heart soft as beach's sands
Catching my collapsing seas

His stormy blown winds
Through these cold, bare trees
Guided your way
Along a rocky path back to me

This Lord knows us all
Able to speak of that
Your waves now crash
Amongst the lonely rock i once sat

What have I achieved
Receiving his gift from above
More than a gift
The life of love
