Wishing for the light..

Darkness surrounds me
I feel like letting go
This hurt, this life around me
Threatening to overthrow.

Your hand comes through the waters
salt and light it shows
holding the way to freedom,
the way to go home

I lift my hand to grasp yours
but mist surrounds my eyes
i feel myself fall deeper
doomed to my own demise

the light above me flickers
but after awhile its but a glow
i know im falling deeper,
and scars i have to show

life is but a memory
existance a mere dream
im living in a dungeon
