My Heart

I finally told you how I feel
I was nervous, but I did it
I got worried after a week
I thought you were never going to answer it

When you finally did
Two weeks latter
My heart was all a flutter
I was shaking all over

I was so nervous about your answer
I was thinking please say yes, please say yes
But your answer was no
My heart sunk a bit

But I understand now
You never meant to hurt me
In a way you did
But I am all right
I understand

You are a nice person too
For not being mean about it
Most guys would have given me a one word answer
But you gave me two pages

I bet you think that I will just give up
But I will not.
When I like some one I dont just give up
I will never give up on you

    Hey, i liked ur poem.. it reminds me of how i once liked a guy. he waas worse to me about saying no. it was very harsh.. what was the reason he said no, if u dont mind me askin.. i like this one very much. 5/5.. plz comment my poems plz

    WOW, god i love this poem
    that s what i went through once in my life.
    you finally took out your feelings to that person yet i can relate this poem to my own poem called (fear of rejection) your this poem is my that fear which i mentioned at that poem.
