Sounds

The rain upon my windowsill
The wind outside my door
So many sounds surround me
Yet I always search for more

The crackle of the fire
The burning of the wood
I listen to them sweetly
I'd record them if I could

The waves out on the ocean
As they break upon the sand
The thrilling of the birds
Foot steps on the dry land

Each of these sounds get to me
Brings a warmth into my heart
Each is like a symphany
Or a priceless piece of art
