Remembering the days they sat and cried
Remembering the days she tried and tried
Remembering the days when you were blue
She was always there to comfort you

As she sat there holding the picture
She looked up and saw your reflection in the mirror
Tears ran down her burning hot cheek
She tried to hold it in, tried no to weep

She remembered the day when they had that fight
She left thinking everything would be alright
She had no idea what was going to happen to you
If only she stayed, If only she knew

Remembering the days her friend would cry
Saying she hated herself and wanted to die
She looked for a gun, she looked for a knife
Many times she tried to threaten her life

Remembering the night she got that phone call
That her Best Friend hung herself on the hook on the wall
Her friend had told her what she wanted to do
But she didn't take her seriously, never had a clue

But on her dress they found a note
Saying: To all my family I Love You So
I had to do this, I was in so much pain
But in your heart, please let me remain

And to my dearest friend I love you so
This right here I want you to know
It's not because of you, I love you too
I just had to do what I had to do

So now there is nothing she can say, nothing she can do
Her friend is gone, She loved her, that much was true
She sits on her bed and continued to cry
How she wished she never had to say good-bye

She blamed herself for her friends death
She wished she could stop feeling guilty, just end all this mess
She wanted to die but she decided to live on
Living life for the both of them, Staying true and remaining strong

At the funeral she cried and cried
Wishing and hoping her friend would come back alive
Wishing somehow she could take her place
Instead of looking down and Seing her friends face

Walking to the casket she knew what she had to do
She kissed her on the cheek and said I'll miss you
She could not bring herself to say good-bye
For she believed she would see her again
Beyond the skies...

Waiting for the day when she can join her friend
She knows in due time...her heart will mend
They'll be together and never grow old
Walking hand in hand...on the streets paved gold...
