She has the eyes that tame the beast
She has the touch that sooths the pain
She has the voice of reason
She's my umbrella in the rain

I have no control over my emotions
No control over the horrible things I say
No control of my anger
But she makes all of it OK

I know that she won't turn her back on me
She'll always be there
She is my guardian angel
She is my answered prayer

When I'm in a blind rage
And my fists are closed tight
She looks me in the eyes
And tells me it will be alright

Then I take a deep breath
And the anger fades away
My fists unclench
Suddenly I have nothing horrible to say

Feel calm
Anger deceased
Always will need her there
