Exposed

by Holly   Mar 2, 2007

Sliding across my wrist and along my arm
a serrated edge
finding no satisfaction in the pain
finding no hope in the dark
the razor clinks on the cold concrete
as the door opens
the sliver of light from the door widens
i tuck into the darkness, hiding my face
panic is aroused as you rush to my aid
the blade is plucked from the ground
tears fall from the golden eyes on your face
blood stains apear all over
he holds me close
comforting me in my time of sorrow
my eyes open wide
the satisfaction was reached
the hope has been found
wrapped in your arms
is all the security i need
to hide from the world
