Sitting Amongst The clouds

by colin octave   Mar 2, 2007

Like a great man once said "no excuses no limits".
A man who never gave him when he couldn't reach his summits.
Thinking about my self and others perception,
I'm left saddened by it in a disastrous condition,
Emotionally wrecked, physically capable mentally I was stranded,
Seeing my life haven't I tried enough,
Tried to gain love did lots of stuff but all a bluff.

The many hours I spent hating myself,
Went to the gym for hours ripped apart my health,
For acceptance to gain friends and love not fame and i don't need wealth.
If a man was put on this earth to suffer the consequences of thought,
Bleed from the many mental battles he has lost and still fought,
Digging his on heart seeking truth, trying to find what he has got fond memories all he forgot.

Now for the grand finale why I call this sitting amongst the clouds,
It's because that's where i want to be, when I've fulfilled my purpose and not just be another boy or waste.
Waste my time fighting a losing battle no!
I will not give up and let my enemies drink wine from my defeat ,my blood they taste.
God will guide me though It seems like i was put to walk on lava with nothing protecting my feet,
And yes, I will make it cause I will try survival is what all humankind seek.
But all I long for is to sit amongst the clouds, When I've done what i was obliged to do and make this dying heart all but proud.
