The Wish

by Joseph Kummet   Mar 3, 2007

I walked around quite a bit today
Many people I did happen to see
I looked into each of their eyes
So many different feelings to my surprise
To all I said "hello how are you"
Many passed by and no response was bellowed
There were a few that said "fine I guess"
They didn't ask me how I was doing or less
I kept on asking each as they passed
There was one who ran away scared I guess
Another who just stopped and gazed at me
When at last I made The Wish for Eternity
I have wanted to wish for it for a while
I did not think I would ever wish this wild
A simple wish I prayed and made that day
Was Love, Peace and Caring for every child
Many will not look straight into my eyes
They do not want to reveal the true side
My wish is they start by loving each other
So evil dies and we live happily ever after
