In Ordinary People

by Daz Mellow   Mar 4, 2007

Some of us can have super powers,
But it doesnt make us any different.
We can give an aura of supernatural energy,
But it doesnt make us any weirder.
We are so extraordinary, yet so ordinary.
We can be so different, but we can be so alike.
I cant explain this in just one poem,
Cause the best of the best lives in all of us,
Extraordinary talents and super natural powers,
Are in all of us, in ordinary people.

Each man is an end unto himself, each man special in his own way, each man as weird as the next....Loved it

I liked this poem and the way you described everything, really made the poem something great. You connected people and superpowers, and I was just listening to the song called "Hero" and when I read this poem, it made me connect too. Great job!
