My Internet Friend

by Kristina   Mar 6, 2007

The bestest friend I have,
Is a girl I don't know in person.
I met this girl on-line
And as we began to talk,
Our friendship began to grow.
Though she is 3 years younger than me,
I don't really mind,
We have a lot in common.

From the moment we started talking,
I knew we would be friends forever,
I wish that we could meet
And maybe someday we will.

She is always here for me
And I am always here for her.
We talk to each other for hours everyday,
We have been through to much together,
It seems as if I know her.
We have cried together,
We have laughed together,
And forever we will be friends.

This was simple but nonetheless sweet.
I can relate because I met my fiance online; we started off as friends. It wasn't in-depth and filled with description and metaphor, but
I don't think this was meant to be anything other than a cute sentiment about internet friendship; that's what it was.
    Thanks for sharing.
