Captive

Captive

Two worlds collide through fate,
Representing love and hate.

Holding a damsel captive,
Letting her believe peace is fictive.

Dreaming of great times,
With serenity lasting for lifetimes.

A valiant knight appearing,
Putting an end to all her fearing.

Fears of being lost,
For eternity is the cost.

Without meeting true love,
She'll never make it above.

The beauty will remain on Earth,
Until her desire is of worth.

Living alone under loath,
She'll never learn the meaning to betroth.

Unless the perfect one,
Rescues her from this dungeon.
