My Stranger

Tonight when I look at the sky
Memories of the old times haunt me
I can see the moon, in all it's glory
as I remember you, and the way you used to be

The stars are shining mysteriously when
I remember the laughter and the tears
And the clouds are shaping images
as I reflect upon our hopes and fears

Times have changed and so did you
you're changing for the worst
And there is nothing I can do
you've become all but a stranger

You can be so much better than this
For a real friend that is obvious
But you're disappearing from my life'
gone are the times when we formed 'us'.

Helplessly in the night,
the moon, stars and clouds will never change
But you might ...

It's possible that a line from this poem is the same as another, though I do not think so. I wrote this some time ago and for some reason it sounded familiar to me: (Just stanza4 actually..)
