Shadow

by taylor   Mar 10, 2007

Silhouettes of a ravaged life
As the memories that haunt me
As I walk the woods of my past.

Shaded from all that is wakeful
I turn to the trail of my time long forgotten
Slowly become a memory.

Outlines of foreboding guide me
Away from once faded days
While the seasons are growing forever cold.

Dark visions of things long ago
Relentlessly carry on in my mind
As the path takes a sharp turn south.

Glooms wind beats in the darkness
And the tired willows sway
Taking me into a bottomless sleep.

Dusk settles its weary tears upon the wood
And my soul at last has turned pale
For I am nothing but a shadow.

please rate this for me!
i would also like to know what u think!
thanx :)
