The Weight Of It All

by Garrison   Mar 12, 2007

At times it's trying when I think of the space
The empty nights we share hoping for a place.
Of becoming complete and fulfilling our needs
Is off in the distance, and time will not speed..

Our case is unique with a twist most would cry
With tears of despair and pillows undry.
There are hurdles no doubt, in this union we pursue
When the comfort of the other is only in view.

We share separate beds with miles in between
And when we are needy, the love sometimes weens.
What are we to do when the time seems so long
Since last we were together, it sounds like a song.

But fear not my Angel with the weight of it all
I carry most honored, regardless the fall.
Trust in my love that has stayed ever strong
Until I'm your man, I pray, that won't be long.
