Leigh (part 2)

by Lisa Rainbow   Mar 13, 2007

I use to have birthday parties on Terrys boat,
And every birthday party I had on there,
You were always there helping out and celebrating,
It was great.

Now every time I go to Geilston Bay Yacht Club,
For dinner or any other time,
And especially if I play eight ball,
It will bring back memories.

It is a real shame you are not still here with us today,
After you turned 18,
I did not hear much of you,
But I had heard you went off the rails,
You started smoking,
In which I noticed once,
Then did not hear or see anything of you.

As I am here now reflecting on what you did,
Of our friendship,
And everything else,
There is so much I want and need to say.
I feel as though I need or should do something,
Even though you died in Queensland,
I wish your funeral were down here in Tasmania that I could go to it,
As it is a part of my heart, which has, been ripped out.

There was a point of time,
Where I thought you were real hot,
And I had always loved your skin, eyes,
For how brown and tanned your skin was,
And your eyes were nice, friendly and welcome.

I use to love going down to Terrys,
Just because I knew you were down there.
I do not know when or where I will approach Robbie and Terry.
Because of this tragic way of ending your life,
You have left a lot of questions some without answers.

There is so much more to say,
That I do not know where to start.

You were a great bloke to know Leigh,
I really would like to know why you did it,
I will always remember you
And the date you changed a lot of peoples lives.
16th November 2006

Just thinking about you,
Things we did together and all,
Is really upsetting.

I will love you,
And you are going to be be in my heart forever.
It is a real shame,
Your life had to end that way,
And at such a short time,
You were only 21,
(Turning 21 in just over a month)
You were only little,
Still a lot of life left,
You would and should have lived for.
I do not know what happened,
To all your dreams and goals of yours,
That we use to talk about.

I just hope that for whatever reason you did it for,
That it was worth your whole life.

As now you cant get it back,
I am, really going to miss you Leigh Henry Cram,

It has given me a chance,
To also see life in a different perspective.

Rest In Peace Leigh,
Forever in our hearts,
Always To Be Remembered.
