Genius

by Gasttlee   Mar 13, 2007

What is a genius?
More than obvious.

Intellect isn't talent in math or science,
for other angles have more compliance
and reliance
for alliance.

Geniuses create
an allure we relate.

Intellect is more than mental,
for it's all fundamental
as an annual dental.

Everyone is a genius in their own way
no matter what others say.

Genius is a command
of great demand
and modest grand
more than we understand.

Genius is never prey to extinction,
for it's a golden distinction.

We are all geniuses
of our own conveniences.

Genius goes past what you see,
for we do our own things cleverly.

This is all true,
for genius lies in you.

Always build your mind well
so it will forever ring pure as a bell.

A really good poem.. very effective, and deep.

Makes you think more on the meaning of that word... lovely.

This poem was very effective in making the reader think more about a simple word. Very good, I've never thought of it that way. I agree with you though.
