CRUSH

by vanessarrr   Apr 8, 2004

You were there, so close.
But I couldn't take a glance.
But then now, you seem far,
It looks like a thousand miles.
There you breathe, all alone,
Knowing nothing of me.
There you smile, so wide,
You could take over galaxy.
You walk by, pass me.
Your posture well kept.
I was there, near you
Watching your every step.
Never once, have I dreamed
That you'll look by my way.
But, this time, I thought,
Your brown eyes yelled, “Hey!”
My heart pumped so fast.
And, my brain was in shock.
Time came, and then went.
But I'm as still as a rock.
When I came to my senses,
And woke straight up, smiling
‘Twas a fantasy, I realized,
How I wished, I wasn't dreaming.
I know deep in my heart
That I just don't like you.
So today I'll try to say that
I think I love you...
